"I come from a proud family that has been involved in public service for as long as I can remember. I want to work for you. We need to create more living wage jobs, improve our schools, and make public safety, a top priority. With over a decade of government experience, I know what it takes to find solutions, navigate complicated governmental agencies, and get things done."

My understanding of civics derives from the teachings of Learning to give. "The importance of civic responsibility is paramount to the success of democracy and philanthropy. By engaging in civic responsibility, citizens ensure and uphold certain democratic values written in the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights"

As such, I wholeheartedly support and encourage public input. As a shareholder of this city, you deserve and have a right to be heard.

Recognizing that a skilled workforce is essential for economic prosperity, I will advocate for robust workforce development initiatives. By partnering with local businesses, trade schools, and community colleges, we can create apprenticeship programs, vocational training opportunities, and job placement services. This approach not only addresses unemployment but also empowers individuals with the skills needed to succeed in our evolving job market, ensuring that our community thrives economically.

As the Board Chair of a local Chamber of Commerce, I understand the vital role that small businesses play in our community's economic landscape. I will advocate for policies that create a supportive business environment, including streamlining regulations, providing access to resources for entrepreneurs, and promoting local businesses. By fostering a thriving business community, we can enhance job opportunities, stimulate economic growth, and create a more resilient local economy.

As a part-time faculty member at a local university, I recognize the transformative power of education. I will advocate for increased funding for education at all levels, from early childhood to higher education. By investing in our schools, supporting teachers, and making higher education more affordable and accessible, we can equip our residents with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in an increasingly competitive world.
